Team India's versatile all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, celebrates his 30th birthday today.

On Wednesday, October 11, the renowned right-handed batsman and Team India's vice-captain, Hardik Himanshu Pandya, marked his 30th birthday.

Regarded as one of the foremost all-rounders in the current generation of cricketers, Pandya has been a vital asset to the Indian cricket team across all three formats.

He presently represents the Baroda cricket team in domestic cricket and holds the position of captain for the Gujarat Titans in the IPL.

Born on October 11, 1993, in Surat, Gujarat, Hardik Pandya's cricketing journey commenced in his hometown of Baroda. His father, Himanshu Pandya, worked as a loan agent in Vadodara, as reported by The Times of India in 2017.

Pandya's education took him to MK High School until the ninth grade, after which he dropped out to fully focus on his cricketing aspirations. Notably, Pandya is married to Natasa Stankovic, known for her role in the film "Satyagraha."

His impressive all-round performance caught the attention of the Mumbai Indians, who acquired him for the IPL 2015 edition. Following an outstanding showing for the

Mumbai Indians against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2015 IPL season, Pandya earned a spot in the Indian squad for the T20Is on their tour to Australia.

Pandya made his debut for the Indian national team in 2016 during a limited-overs tour of Australia. He further made a name for himself with his adept bowling skills on pitches that favored seamers during the Asia Cup in Bangladesh.

Before the IPL 2022 auction, the Mumbai Indians released Pandya, and subsequently, he was picked up by the new Ahmedabad franchise, the Gujarat Titans, where he assumed the role of the team's captain.

In his One Day International (ODI) debut for India against New Zealand on October 16, 2016, at Dharamshala, Pandya contributed 36 runs from 32 balls.

To date, he has played 83 ODIs, accumulating 1796 runs and securing 80 wickets.

Pandya's Test debut occurred in July 2017, against Sri Lanka in Galle. It was in the third and final Test match against Sri Lanka at Pallekele that he notched his first Test century.
